Our Fisheries

We go where the fish are to bring you the freshest catch, which is why we have production facilities at Port Edward on BC’s North Coast, Haida Gwaii, Port Hardy Northern Vancouver Island, and up and down the coast as well as Vancouver.

By working in close collaboration with the fishermen, we know exactly the species of each fish, prawn and shrimp, its grade, its catch method and location, right down to the name of the boat. Our internal system of traceability ensures that from sea to table, your product has been produced to the highest standards.

Our head office and plant is located on the Fraser River in Vancouver, British Columbia. The plant offloads and processes our fishermen’s catch as well as acting as our distribution base for all fresh and frozen shipments that may be destined for worldwide customers.

1987 saw the addition of the Port Edward plant at the mouth of the Skeena River near Prince Rupert, British Columbia. This plant also offloads and processes our fleet’s catch. It is an important location as it is near the rich fishing grounds of the Hecate Strait and Queen Charlotte Islands.

Besides these two plants, we have relationships with other plants along the BC coast, which allows us to offer a variety of locations for our fishermen to sell their catch to us.
